Natalie and Ryan had blue skies and glorious sunshine to celebrate their big day in style!
Upon arrival at the beautiful resort we captured some details in the getting ready rooms. Balloon blowing, rings, shoes, jewellery, bouquets, the beautiful wedding dress and some fun group shots of the girls in their robes.
The sun was splitting the palm trees as we proceeded to the ceremony. Surrounded by family and friends, a very cute flower girl and a minister wearing colourful Bermuda regalia set the scene for Natalie’s entrance down the aisle. Following the ring exchange, the official signing of the register and numerous congratulatory hugs we ventured to the gorgeous gardens for some formal pictures of the bridal party and then on to the beach some intimate shots of the newlyweds.
The reception started with a few bangs as the bride was surprised by an amazing gift! The Gombeys! They are an iconic symbol of Bermuda. This folklife tradition reflecting the island’s blend of African, Caribbean and British cultures, incorporating them over time into a unique performance art full of colorful and intricate masquerade, dance and drumming.
Following the excitement of the dancing and drumming troupe we continued the reception with the bridal party introduction and dinner. Cake cutting and speeches were next on the agenda and then the Deep Nightclub opened for the party to really kick into gear!
Congratulations Natalie and Ryan, we wish you all the very best in your future together!
