Hamilton Princess was our starting place for this hot but beautiful August day in Bermuda. Both Michelle and Clinton were getting ready in this newly renovated hotel which set the scene for the days festivities. The rings, the dress hanging up among other details were captured before some pre-ceremony portraits.

We ventured over to Dundonald Street to make it official at the Heritage Worship Center. A beautiful ceremony, singing, ring exchanges and vows all took place before the signing. Officially Mr & Mrs Saunders!

Hamilton Princess has some gorgeous area’s for formal pictures of groups so we took advantage of their shaded courtyard to beat the sun. Once the bridal party and family pictures were complete we had a more intimate portrait session with the newlyweds before hitting the reception.

Hosted by Nadanja, the reception schedule took us to the cake cutting, first dances as well as some emotional but funny speeches. Then the party really kicked in!

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Saunders, we wish you all the very best in your future together!

Hannah and Chris tied the knot at one of the most beautiful venues in Bermuda. The Maritime Museum is a historical site in itself which holds a collection of the finest artifacts and paintings of Bermuda’s history as well as an elevated view of our stunning turquoise waters. A truly unique location.

The bride and groom had their first look on the south facing staircase followed by bridal party, family and friends’ group shots on the cliff edge to take advantage of the stunning blues of The Great Sound, Atlantic Ocean.

The exotic sound of steel drums filled the air as we proceeded with the ceremony located by the flagpole and canons. Once they had their first kiss as newlyweds we captured some intimate shots around the museum grounds as the setting sun brought us closer to golden hour.

The reception dinner was stunningly decorated on the second floor balcony overlooking the ocean. A lovely toast from Hannah’s grandfather started a fantastic evening.

First dances were then followed by the party really kicking in with a full dance-floor for most of the night!

Congratulations Hannah & Chris. We wish you all the very best in your future together.

Aimee & Matt | Fourways Inn | July 21st, 2017

An absolutely stunning July day in Bermuda. Hot, with a breeze and some clouds to make that blue sky even more dramatic.

Aimee was getting ready at Fourways Inn. I started photographing the details and the wedding dress hanging up while the girls had the last touches or hair and make up applied. The dress was beautiful and I was able to capture a few candids of the girls helping with the lace and back buttons in the light streaming through the big windows as well as, garter and shoe fitting.

The unfinished church is one of my favourite locations for a ceremony. Unique, grand and historical. Add two loving families and it truly is a stunning setting. Following the signing of the register to make it official and the first kiss as Mr & Mrs McGowan, the guests made their way to the cocktail hour at Fourways Inn and we took a few intimate shots at the church and then Chaplin bay on south shore. We were able to take advantage of the gorgeous evening light, contrasting turquoise seas, the veil in the breeze and the natural formations of the caves to capture some fantastic shots. Even a rainbow made an appearance! We staged the group shots of family, friends and bridal party on the gorgeous Fourways Inn lawn.

The reception room was beautifully decorated and had all of Aimee’s details she wanted. From sweet treats on the tables to handmade napkin holders. The first dance and cake cutting was then followed by Aimee’s dad singing and very touching speeches. Then the party really began!

We wish you all the very best in your future together!

Kelly & Paul | The Reefs | July 7th, 2017

Kelly and Paul had an amazing wedding weekend here in Bermuda. A strategic pick of date 7/7/17 set up a Friday wedding where we had some dramatic weather which in the end brought around some epic stormy skies and rainbows – the perfect contrast and backdrop to our pink sand and turquoise waters.

We started our coverage of the day with Paul and his dad at the Fairmont Southampton Princess getting the finishing touches to their suits as well as Paul opening his gifts from his soon-to-be-wife, Kelly.  Most notably ‘Soulmate’ socks and a watch to make sure he showed up on time! Moving on to the girls room we captured the hanging dress and wedding party in their robes with a champagne toast. Moving on to details of the jewelry, garter pull, shoes and the finishing touches of hair and the brides wedding dress buttons. After some final individual shots on the balcony we headed to The Reefs for the Caso’s Point ceremony.

It was a beautiful ceremony despite the showers as you can tell by the smiles and laughter through-out and on to the first dances. Following the brief shower we headed to the beach for some dramatic skies and intimate shots with the newlyweds. Family and friends then joined in for some group shots with a stunning ocean backdrop.

The reception was on the ocean deck at Coconuts overlooking the golden sunsetting beach – a perfect location for a welcoming speech, Bermuda rum swizzles, dinner and cake cutting before the party really kicked off!

The following day we arranged a wreck-the-dress shoot at more South Shore beaches; Warwick Long Bay and Jobson’s Cove. Bermuda’s newest couple enjoyed getting soaked jumping off the rocks and they now have some amazing images to savour forever.

We wish you all the very best! Congratulations!

Sarah & Eric | Mid Ocean Club | May 13th, 2017

Bermuda Wedding Photographer | Moongate Productions | Blog

Sarah and Eric had the most memorable wedding week in Bermuda surrounded by their nearest and dearest for a host of activities and their big day. The photo coverage started with the welcome party, a dinner at Bistro J and cocktails on the patio of the Royal Bermuda Yacht Club.

They awoke to glorious Bermuda sunshine on a May day to remember. The girls were staying in Tuckers Town overlooking turquoise water and one of the best views on the island. After getting some details, dress and getting ready candids we ventured to south shore to catch the boys getting the final touches done and a few group shots before returning to the girls.

The ceremony took place in Hamilton at St.Teresa’s with all the bells and whistles and even a duet from Sarah’s parents. Following the hugs and celebrations we started with some group shots at the cathedral and then onto the Tuckers Town residence for bridal party and family groups. Once the cocktail party started at Mid Ocean Club we had some fun on the beach and then some more intimate images with the newlyweds at the beautiful beach cove.

A fantastic reception followed with plenty of great food and even better dancing!

Congratulations Sarah and Eric, a truly lovely couple. We wish you all the very best in your future together.

Caitlin & Jonathan | Hamilton Princess | April 22nd, 2017

Caitlin and Jonathan woke up to glorious sunshine on their big day. It would turn out to be one of the best weather days of the year which only set the scene for how special it would be for them to be joined surrounded by their family and closest friends.

While Jonathan and the boys made their way to the ceremony site at St. Patrick’s we joined Caitlin at Hamilton Princess to capture the finishing touches of the girls getting ready… the jewellery, shoes, final touches to hair and the little ones excited about the day ahead. Following a few shots on the way out of the hotel we made our way to the church as well.

The ceremony was inclusive of beautiful readings, the ring exchange, prayer and signing of the registrar.

The formal pictures took place back at Hamilton princess in the gorgeous courtyard. Wedding party and family group shots then we continued with a more intimate shoot on the hotel property with the newlyweds before heading to cocktails and reception.

Congratulations Caitlin and Jonathan! We wish you all the very best in your future together.

Sam & Jack | Orange Valley | October 28th, 2016

Bermuda wedding photographer | Moongate Productions | Blog

The smiles were relentless during the union of these two beautiful families. A combination of an amazing October day, historical Bermuda residences, fantastic home-made decor and a horse and carriage. For everyone involved, this was truly a wedding to remember.

Sam was getting ready at her uncle’s Bermuda home with her bridesmaids so we took advantage of the light pouring through the cedar windows to showcase her dress, details and gift giving and receiving. We caught up with Jack, his groomsmen and father at the church. A small intimate venue but perfect for this lovely couple to tie the knot.

Following a beautiful ceremony the newlyweds were escorted by horse and carriage to the Orange Valley residence to take some intimate formals as well as bridal party group pictures. Continuing from there we captured candids of the reception introduction and into the tented dinner which included some of the best speeches I’ve ever heard including Jack getting on stage to sing with his best man/brother on guitar. It didn’t take long for this crowd to get on the dance-floor and the rest is history!

Congratulations to Sam & Jack. We wish you all the very best in your future together.

Meghan & Daniel | Newstead Belmont Resort | October 9th, 2016

Bermuda Wedding Photographer | Moongate Productions | Blog

A Bermuda-ful October day. Sunshine and plenty of smiles greeted Meg and Dan on their big occasion.  The scene was set at Newstead from getting ready all the way through to the reception which helped us capture the true emotions being poured in to this celebration.

Amazing organisation was put into the decor and all the way down to the small details, which is quite something for a destination wedding. Beginning with individual tie pins for the boys, a framed Bermuda print for guests to sign, hashtag #megwinsanemmy and an emotional slideshow of Dan and his baby girls while Meg danced with her own father.

After capturing the final touches of the boys getting ready and a traditional drink cheers we ventured over to an excited girls room which had the dresses hanging up and ready for us. Following a champagne toast and taking advantage of the light pouring in the balcony doors we set up the first look for the bridge and groom.

The ceremony site looked over the sun-kissed infinity pool and the gorgeous harbour just to add to this special moment while the newlyweds officially tied the knot! Formal family and bridal party pictures were then followed with a more intimate photo-shoot of Meg & Dan at other waterside spots on this gorgeous resort.

The reception continued the fantastic atmosphere with grand entrances, cake cutting, speeches and first dances. Then the party really kicked in with a Bermudian Soca vibe!

We finished up this amazing weekend with a trash-the-dress shoot at Warwick Long bay and Jobsons Cove the very next day.  The combination of pink sand, torquiose waters and formal splashes make for epically fun images to treasure forever.  We wish you and your lovely girls all the very best in your future together.

Katie & Brian | Hamilton Princess | September 17th, 2016

Bermuda wedding photographer | Moongate Productions | Blog

Location/Planner: Hamilton Princess     Photography/Videography: Moongate Productions       DJ: Rusty G

Katie & Brian were blessed with fantastic September weather to tie the knot. Starting the day getting ready at the newly renovated Hamilton Princess we were able to capture the excitement in both boys and girls camps. Lots of laughs, smiles, champagne, colourful hanging dresses (and one suit) as well as numerous youtube videos of how to tie a bow tie started the day off in the right direction with the sun bursting through the south shore facing rooms. The gorgeous soft light coming through Katie’s balcony and swimming pool facing pamper room gave us an opportunity to capture just how beautiful this bride was on her most anticipated day of her life.

The ceremony location has to be one of the most stunning and unique places we have ever had the chance to photograph. With all the guests, groomsmen and Brian ready to go – Katie and her parents arrived by horse and carriage to the cliff-top ceremony. A singing bridesmaid, vows, ring exchange and a first kiss to seal the marriage in style – everything about this ceremony was perfect as the newlyweds were surrounded by their closest friends and family.

We definitely had to take advantage of the dramatic landscape for the formal photographs and carried on the adventure for a more intimate shoot with Bermuda newest couple!

The reception venue was at the Hamilton Princess beach club were everyone enjoyed a fantastic meal, first dances, speeches followed by DJ Rusty G taking the reception to the next level for a wedding none of the guests will forget!

We wish you all the very best in your future together!

Stephanie & Nuno | Bella Vista, Port Royal | September 3rd, 2016

Bermuda Wedding Photographer | Moongate Productions | Blog

September 3rd will go down in memory as a very special day. Gorgeous weather and surrounded by family and friends – Stephanie and Nuno got everything they asked for in their perfect wedding.

In both getting ready camps there were wedding gifts and the last exchanged love letters between the couple before they were to be husband and wife. We took full advantage of the amazing light at Stephanies parents Warwick residence as soon as Stephanie was in her stunning wedding dress.

The cermeony was at St. Teresa’s to make it official followed by a dove release. After a horn-blowing drive around town the bridal party and the newly-weds arrived at Botanical gardens for some formal family shots and to have a bit of fun. Stephanie and Nuno then had a more intimate photo-shoot in the evening light at Stonehole Bay to emphasise their connection and take advantage of the contrast of colours in the background to the fresh choices of their wedding attire.

The reception at Bella Vista had it all. Cake cutting, emotional and funny speeches, first dances, bouquet/garter toss as well as a feast for the eyes as the entire guestlist lit up the darkness with Chinese lanterns into the summer night. Then the party really started…

We wish you all the very best in your future together!
